Job Title: Special Procedures Technologist Department: Radiology: Need weekdays off? This position is unique as it works every weekend 12-hour shifts but is paid for 40 hours. Eligible for an additional overnight shift differential and $5000 Sign-On Bonus! Job Summary: The special procedures technologist operates the CT scanner equipment to include CT, X-ray and Fluoroscopic, and makes radiographs of designated portions of the patient’s body. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Enter all exam charges into system and/or direct them to Material Services and Pharmacy as appropriate. Perform high quality CT Radiological examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately. Work with the Radiologist to learn and follow their preferred imaging protocols, and to provide them with accurate information regarding the patient’s symptoms and physical history. Maintain exam room, equipment, and supplies in an orderly fashion, so as to always be ready for the next patient.
