Last Energy seeks a Federal Affairs Lead to develop and manage relationships with US Executive Branch departments and agencies, as well as Congress. The candidate will have recent experience working for or with the US Executive Branch or Congress, ideally with a focus on energy matters. The successful candidate will have a proactive and agile leadership style with the ability to listen, engage, and collaborate in order to build and maintain meaningful relationships with key US Government stakeholders that enable the organization to deliver its challenging remit. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key senior stakeholders across the US Government's Executive and Legislative Branches, specifically within the Department of Energy and Department of Defense - Identify and pursue relevant US Government initiatives, programs, and partnerships that would bring strategic value to Last Energy’s business goals - Manage and liaise with lobbyists, consultants, and trade associations - Monitor, track, and analyze proposed legislation and administrative actions, assess the potential impact on the company, and formulate appropriate responses - Provide...
