Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Intermediate Accountant to join our team based at our head office in the West Perth office. As a valued team member, you'll collaborate closely with the Manager and colleagues to achieve exceptional client outcomes. Your primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS accurately and promptly. Ensuring prompt and professional responses to client inquiries while meeting ATO deadlines is essential. You'll work collaboratively with team members and other departments at AAG to ensure seamless workflow efficiency. Strong communication skills are imperative for interpreting and addressing client inquiries effectively. Position Responsibilities: - Accurately prepare intricate tax and business compliance documents, including financial statements and tax returns for clients such as companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). - Conduct thorough reviews of BAS returns, GST reconciliations, Capital Gains Tax calculations, and FBT returns, providing assistance and advice to clients as needed. - Ensure adherence to AAG processes and maintain high-quality standards when reviewi...
