Job Description: Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), located in Reno, NV is seeking applicants for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. The EHS Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of the environmental, health, and safety program for all campuses/sites of TMCC. The EHS program includes the EH&S management system, environmental compliance, occupational health, injury, and incident mitigation and investigation. This includes hazardous material procurement, hazardous waste management and operations, industrial hygiene, asbestos, radiation safety, and fire and life safety. The position provides budget planning, projection, and strategic planning for the College’s EHS functions. The EHS Manager serves on a variety of internal and external committees that promote environmental compliance and sustainability, the TMCC safety culture, and the health and wellness for all TMCC faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
