Farington Lodge Hotel have a friendly team and are always looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to join us. We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Chef to work approximately 20 hours per week. This role will involve some early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts on a rota basis. Role Overview: As a Part Time Chef you will assist in preparing and presenting high quality dishes across our outlets, maintaining food hygiene standards and contributing to a smooth-running kitchen. You will work alongside our culinary team to deliver excellent food consistently, ensuring guests receive a memorable dining experience. Key Duties: Prepare, cook and present menu items to the standards set by the Head Chef. Assist with mise en place and portion control to reduce waste and maintain consistency. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas. Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, including safe storage and labelling of food. Support service during busy periods and work efficiently under pressure. Report any maintenance or stock issues to the appropriate team member.
