Job description

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team. The candidate will become part of Peraton's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Datacenter Consolidation and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program managing a diverse array of systems at DataCenter1. The position is primarily telework but requires candidates to be located within one hour driving distance of Stennis Space Center, MS for periodic onsite support. The core hours for the position are between 8am - 4pm (CST) Monday-Friday with occasional on-call after-hours support required when it is the candidate's week to be on-call or perform patching. Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems in a secure enterprise environment. - Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation across all platforms - Implement and maintain STIG compliance (DISA STIGs) and ensure systems meet security baselines - Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives - Familiarity with VMware virtualization environments - Manage NetApp storage systems, including provisioning and performance optimization - Monitor systems for performance, availability, and se...
