The DC licensed electrician and/or NICET certified technician is responsible for evaluating, maintaining, testing, repairing, and replacing a variety of electrical and life safety facility components (as their training and credentialing may allow), to ensure the equipment is fully operational and meets university standards. The position holder will also be involved in corrective and preventive maintenance, minor alteration work, and may oversee temporary labor, and/or other trade persons or contractors as required.
