Introduction We at Shimano are looking for Product Compliance Specialist with the expertise in Chemical domain. This role requires an experienced, hands on product compliance professional who can translate EU regulatory requirements into operational and scalable processes. The successful candidate will not inherit a fully mature system. They will build, structure, document, and continuously improve compliance workflows across REACH, CLP, RoHS, WFD, SVHC communication, PFAS and SCIP reporting. The role combines regulatory expertise, data discipline, and process ownership. It is execution driven and heavy accountability. The Challenge: - Building and maintaining REACH tonnage tracking processes, including data logic, reporting structure, and early warning indicators. - Designing and operating the SVHC and SCIP process, covering substance identification, Article 33 communication, SCIP reporting, backlog resolution, and future proofing. - Implementing CLP workflows, including classification reviews, SDS governance, labeling requirements, and packaging checks. - Establishing PFAS compliance workflows, including supplier data collection, material screening logic, risk categorization, and...
