Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary: The Zolkind Lab is a translational head and neck cancer lab investigating novel models of treatment resistance and therapeutic targets. This is a "bench-to-bedside" lab incorporating cell culture, mouse models and human tumor specimens. The lab operates closely with the Major and Goldfarb labs and provides a rich environment of education with weekly lab meetings and education seminars. There are numerous scientists, postdocs, and students in the lab and this provides ample opportunity to learn, grow, and develop new techniques and expertise in this position. Depending on candidate interest, there are also opportunities for clinical exposure in the clinic and operating room. Assists with the technical aspects of studies and experiments, including documentation and preparation of materials. Job Description: Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assists with research studies, experiments and assays, including collection of data, preparation of solutions and setup and maintenance of equipment.
