Job Summary: - Provides front line leadership to associates to maintain appropriate operation levels while ensuring safety, quality and process standards. - Responsible for daily shift preparation which includes setting the staffing plan, reviewing schedule and pass-down information. - Facilitates daily team meetings and monitors conditions to ensure appropriate processes are applied to ensure operational efficiency. - Tracks shift performance, updates departmental documents, tracks associate attendance, completes evaluations, and provides development through coaching. - Provides countermeasures and analysis to improve efficiency and medium-term planning activities. - Coordinate and negotiate with customers to ensure effective problem solving and to mitigate any production downtime.
