About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 About the Role: Power Modeling Analyst The Team: The analyst will join the North American Power and Renewables team (US and Canada), which conducts industry research and provides forecasts of electricity generation, capacity additions and market prices to a variety of clients. Responsibilities and Impact: Update and use power market simulation models and interface to address client questions, typically related to price forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analyses, risk assessment, portfolio valuation, and strategic assessments. Collect data and maintain models to perform research tasks for fundamentals and economic analysis of renewables and other supply resources. Carry out topical research to help clients understand drivers, trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities. Collaborate with energy researchers on broader reports and studies, delivering insights through written reports, presentations, and client interactions. Participate in consulting project development and delivery. This position will focus on modeling of the United States and Canadian power markets.
