Description Now Hiring – X-Ray Technologist: Location: Various Locations (Avon, Bloomfield, Enfield, Glastonbury, Rocky Hill) Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the radiologist, provides diagnostic service for patients of all ages undergoing diagnostic studies in the department of radiology. Multi-skilled technologists demonstrate the skill to use two or more radiographic equipment to produce quality images for radiological diagnosis. On-the-job training for those that are x-ray experienced and willing to be cross trained. - Must accurately interpret a physician’s instructions, routine procedural protocols, prepare and operate the radiographic and mammographic equipment, associated software and equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. - Document all patient related information in radiology information system in a timely manner based on patient and radiologist workflow. - Acquire patients' chart data/requisition and reviews both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems, contraindications to the study and verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs. - Maintain all aspects of the radi...
