The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Driver for the Lufkin Corps, located in Lufkin, Texas. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Corps Officers, drives Salvation Army owned vehicle loading and unloading routine pickups and/or deliveries of material, donated or otherwise, to serve production needs of the store and/ or general operation of corps. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the assigned geographical area. Ability to organize pick-up tickets and to schedule route in a manner that saves time and gasoline consumption. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers. Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Education and Experience High school diploma or G.E.D, And Prior experience driving a box truck, And any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
