Ramp Safety Specialist

Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Conducts safety training programs - Training of all new hires - Responsible for investigation and documentation of all accidents and injuries to determine root causes and assists unit and regional management with developing corrective actions. - Ensures compliance with company and regulatory safety policies and procedures. - Develops and implements best practices. - Conducts ramp safety audits and provides on-the-job training. - Supports aircraft incident root cause investigation and reporting. - Works with unit to secure full compliance with OSHA (or similar) regulatory compliance. - Controls proper maintenance of CDL (Commercial Driver License) files at the unit as required by company policy. - Monitors, controls and drives improved compliance - Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp - Direct others with knowledge of ramp service and operational functions - Work under pressure while maintaining near 100% on time performance - Encourage team cooperation through briefings and leading by example - Ability to determine when tasks are complete a...
