Environmental Specialist

Job description

The Environmental Specialist supports environmental compliance across multiple RHI Magnesita facilities, rotating between East Canton, OH; Saybrook, OH; New Castle, PA; and Hammond, IN. This is a hybrid role, and while remote work is supported, we prefer someone based in the Cleveland, Ohio area to allow for manageable travel to these sites. Environmental compliance is foundational to how we operate. In this role, you will help maintain programs that protect our people, our operations, and the surrounding communities. Your work will support continuous improvement, strengthen environmental stewardship, and contribute to sustainable manufacturing across several locations. This is an impactful time to join as we build and implement environmental systems and processes across the region. You will support core compliance areas—including air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, waste management, spill prevention, reporting, and assessments—while collaborating closely with plant leadership, EHS teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
