Accounting Specialist - Remote schedule

Overview The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for entering transactions related to our suppliers and customers including but not limited to customers invoice, accounts payable invoices and payments as well as communicating with our customers and suppliers on matters related to these transactions. Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, this position will play a key role in our daily accounting operations with a focus on maintaining accurate and timely transaction-level information. Responsibilities: - Perform review of supplier invoices to ensure appropriate supporting documentation PO/Receiving, Adobe Approval, etc. and to minimize transaction-level errors. - Provide backup support to A/R to ensure appropriate supporting documentation Quotes, Contracts, Shipping Records, PO/Receiving, Adobe Approval and to minimize transaction-level errors. - Process AP/AR related transactions including debit/credit memos, supplier payments, supplier invoice adjustments. - Process month end job duties including review of reporting and tracking accruals. - Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements. - All while...
