Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a high-impact mission-critical team at Odenton, Maryland. This role involves network integration, engineering, and operational support for a secure, large-scale enterprise environment. You will collaborate with skilled professionals to implement secure network configurations, optimize system performance, and enhance mission readiness through continuous service improvements. Primary Responsibilities: Design, integrate, and implement secure network solutions. Collaborate with network architects to improve STIG-compliant baselines and track compliance. Perform testing, validation, and automation of best practices. Assist in the development of SOPs, TTPs, and Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs). Support incident management and root cause analysis (RCA). Provide tier escalation for technical issues and participate in engineering operations readiness reviews. Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure: routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IPS, WANX. Implement and evaluate firewall rules and load balancers.
