HiQ Tyres & Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for a MOT Tester Technician to join the team in our Bury St Edmunds Centre. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm – half a day finish on a Saturday.: Salary depending on experience. What you will be doing as a MOT Tester Technician: - Work on all makes and models of vehicles - Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs - Handle brakes, tyres, and wheel alignment - Inspect vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and exhaust systems. - Conduct MOT tests on various types of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. - Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform necessary repairs or adjustments. - Document test results accurately and provide feedback to vehicle owners regarding any issues found. - Stay updated on changes in MOT regulations and testing procedures. - Always maintain health and safety standards, working within company guidelines and safe working practices. - Complete job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standard - To undertake any additional duties (within reason) for the efficient running of the Store. - T...
