Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Verify important information including endorsements, dates, and identification, to cash or deposit checks. Conduct various banking transactions, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, withdrawing funds, and issuing customer receipts. Prepare, verify, and issue cashier's checks. Balance cash drawer daily according to established procedures and report any teller cash differences immediately to the direct supervisor. Balance all vaults at the end of the day. Refer, solicit, and open new consumer accounts. Answer Branch phones and assist customers. Update customer and account information and complete all associated paperwork.
