Job Overview Responsible for: Using hand or powered equipment, loads, and moves materials with or near work site by performing the following duties. A Day In The Life: Roles & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. What will help you thrive in this role? - Supplies operators with work and material and removes completed parts per route sheet sequence and as required. - Reads route sheets or follow verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Checks material against route sheets for accuracy. - Positions materials and containers as required. - Removes scrap from machines, places in correct containers and moves to designated areas. - Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. - May count, weigh, and/or measure units of materials moved or handled as required. - Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on tote pans, skids or other containers. - Lifts objects thirty-five (35) pounds or less by hand and objects thirty-five (35) pounds or over with powered equipment, and cleans work area, machines and equipment to assist operators. - Keeps assigned area clean and organized...
