Overview Abacus Technology is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide systems and IA support for Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Ensure servers, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured for network operation. - Maintain various Civil Engineering (CE) systems (client/server applications and web applications). - Periodically review the customer organization's needs for computer resources. - Perform routine system maintenance such as backing up or archiving application data files and adding application software updates. - Serve as the system troubleshooter, a critical role in keeping the system operational. - Work with the installation WCSO to implement network security policies and procedures as outlined in the base network security policy. - Implement software patches and security fixes as required by the AFNOSC or program management office. - Develop and maintain system accreditation. - Implement and enforce all Air Force IA policies and procedures using the guidance within this instruction and applicable specialized IA publications. - Develop and maintain Certification...
