Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift

Job description

Summary: The Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings throughout the campus, grounds, and equipment. This position also handles preventative maintenance and repairs for a wide range of hospital equipment and utility systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, light construction, painting, and grounds keeping. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Routine facility maintenance, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and painting. - Conduct scheduled safety checks, inspections, and facility walk-throughs. - Respond to work orders and/or projects, and records completion of work order and any changes in work performed. - Identifies and communicates potential issues related to services and equipment to appropriate leader/department. - Participates in the development of departmental safety procedures, in coordination with Maintenance Manager - Maintain records of facility in compliance with all regulatory agencies providing oversight including local, state, and federal agencies relating to facility maintenance systems. - Reports on monthly department service metrics, providing supportin...
