Research and Development Technician

Job description

Title: Research & Development Technician Position Summary: The Research and Development Lab Technician works within the R&D team and supports innovative activities, including laboratory scale batching, documentation control, and general lab support . The ideal candidate must be able to show a proven track record of accuracy, have excellent hands-on laboratory skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and have a keen eye for detail. They will be self-motivated, solution-focused, highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work autonomously. Core Functions of the Position: - Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment regularly - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, including cleaning, trash removal, and glassware washing. - Assist chemists with preparing documents, filling and labeling samples, and general project support. - Prepare laboratory-scale batches according to established formulas and written instructions. - Collaborate with R&D Chemists during product development phase communicating relevant findings. - Perform laboratory tests such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, and other analyses as assigned. - Weigh, measure, and mix raw ma...
