About The Role The graphic designer / animator will join our busy video team to help journalistic and creative concepts come to life. They will help find innovative ways to enhance The Telegraph’s video content on site and on social media platforms. Key Responsibilities: - To deliver fast turn-around motion design graphics elements to help our video news producers tell stories visually. - To proactively suggest design solutions for stories of interest to The Telegraph audience. - To balance their workload across a mixture of fast-turnaround productions and long-lead video projects for use on The Telegraph apps, site and social media platforms. - To deliver graphics and motion designs quickly and accurately to tight deadlines, particularly for breaking news. - To develop a close working relationship with the design team and to act as a key communication link between the video desk and relevant designers. - To work with the Telegraph design department to help evolve existing language into motion assets, and suggest new opportunities within this framework. - Work comfortably with expressions and essential graphics to create templates, visual systems and branded assets that ensure cons...
