Job Summary This position is responsible for leading the loading department, acting as a point of contact for scheduling and ensuring the department is adhering to safety standards and following daily work orders in a timely , safe, and productive manner. Duties and Responsibilities: - Conducts daily huddles with department regarding schedule, orders, and maintenance concerns. - Confers with management regarding scheduling and maintenance concerns. - Operates a propane sit-down forklift. - Sort shipments for destination and group merchandise to be included with or fulfilled in an order. - Picking, pulling, and loading of finished materials for transport and unloading of raw materials. - Moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. - Inspect the forklift to determine the need for repairs and to guarantee safety. - Verify piece counts on each pallet and compares to label . - Material handling of all products. - Follow shipping work orders. - Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge / Skills/Abilities: - Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. - Highly motivated with good sound work ethics. - Must demonstrate safe working practices and po...
