The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital (RIH) are searching for a full-time physician to assume Directorship of the Division of Cerebrovascular Disease and the Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is a unique opportunity to lead a Vascular team of 8 full-time practitioners in a high-functioning department at RIH, where a robust multidisciplinary team delivers world-class care and leads integrated research. About the job: - Join 6 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers and 2 dedicated RNs - Brown academic appointment - participate in the educational programs in Neurology for medical students and residents as well as other staff members at Rhode Island Hospital - Enjoy opportunities for departmental and interdepartmental research - A minimum of 20% protected research time will be provided - RIH has a 21-bed Vascular unit and 18-bed Neurocritical Care Unit which oversees over a thousand stroke admissions per year - Work closely with colleagues in Emergency Medicine, Vascular Interventional Radiology, and Neurosurgery - Scheduled is typically Monday-Friday with some weekend coverage About the benefits: - Strong competitive salary - 4 weeks PTO...
