The Service & Team: We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Charging and Assessment Team as a Finance Assessment Officer. The Charging and Assessment Team is a dynamic and friendly team within the Safe and Caring Communities Service. We offer flexible working where you will be expected to work some days in the office but will also have the opportunity to work from home, with occasional visits to service users in the community. When working in the office, you are able to work from one of our offices in either Bodmin, Truro or Camborne. The Role: The team is responsible for undertaking financial assessments, by phone and in person, for individuals receiving care at home or residential services. The role entails a high level of contact with service users both by telephone and email. You will be responsible for liaising directly with service users and their families to conduct financial assessments ensuring they are completed fairly, consistently and promptly.
