FSQA Technician

Job description

Location: 3520 Laird Road Mississauga, L5L 5Z7 About the Role: As a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician, you will act as the first checkpoint in the effective food safety and quality assurance system. Reporting to the site FSQA Manager, you will work closely with the Production and Receiving teams to uphold our FSQA standards at the distribution center. This will involve quantitative measurements, environmental and product sampling, inspection of incoming raw materials and observation of the production process. What you will be doing: - Complete monitoring activities and maintain accurate reports and records (ex. GMP records, temp logs); - Be involved in quality control activities, such as intake, WIP and finished production inspections; - Perform pre and post-operation and sanitation monitoring of the food processing environment and equipment; - Deliver FSQA training to new and existing associates; - Conduct environmental monitoring and equipment calibration verification, (Environmental sampling & ATP swabbing) - Create tickets when escalations are required for product non-conformances; - Work with the Quality & Technical team to conduct sensory and microbiological shelf li...
