Job Summary: Job Description: Overview: The Parks Maintenance Worker II performs a variety semi-skilled strenuous labor duties assisting in the cleaning, maintenance, care, and repair of parks, playgrounds, facilities, public spaces, and landscaping for the Parks and Recreation Department. Essential Functions: 1 Performs a wide range of semi-skilled strenuous labor for the parks and recreation department; mows and maintains landscaping in public areas, collects and disposes of trash and debris, cleans and maintains playgrounds and equipment, and performs any other maintenance work for the care of facilities and grounds. 2 Loads and unloads tools, construction materials, and equipment onto trucks to ensure necessary tools are available for repairs to be made. 3 Assists in performing pollution and environmental inspection and related field work; suppor...
