Primary Responsibilities: Maintain close attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the welding/fabrication area. MIG and Stick welding, you must know how to use the torch and rosebud operation. Familiar with metals, steel, and fabrications. Oversee all the container/Baler repairs. Rebuilding truck bodies, roll-off containers, and front-load containers. Follow instructions on work orders and shop drawings, and verify material and work accuracy. Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to complete orders. Order and maintain necessary levels of shop and welding supplies. Maintain equipment by following required preventative maintenance schedules and documenting tasks. Able to interpret drawings, layout, and plan work and use sound judgment. Observe safety procedures, assure one's own and others' safety, and report any safety issues. Properly stack processed material and pack as required in prep...
