The MRI Technologist 2 performs intricate procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) through the operations of radiographic equipment to obtain highest quality of diagnostic images. Independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative are essential in addition to responsibility for designated areas, procedures and equipment. Moreover, an employee in this position performs diagnostic imaging examinations to facilitate the ability of physicians, radiologic technologists, and supervisors to find abnormalities and make a proper diagnosis. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: Coordinates scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures. Performs diagnostic imaging studies under the direction/supervision of a radiologist.
