Project Accountant

Job description

As a Project Accountant at PPG SW, you will serve as a key financial partner to operations, helping drive project profitability, accurate forecasting, and strong financial performance across a growing organization. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership across multiple operating companies while supporting a larger nationwide platform within PPG. You will work closely with three operating companies across Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, gaining multi-entity experience and exposure to diverse project portfolios. This position provides high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and strong growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization. Responsibilities: · Partner with project managers and operations leaders to monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability · Analyze job cost performance including labor, materials, subcontractors, and overhead · Review project forecasts and identify risks and opportunities impacting margin · Prepare and issue pay applications and client invoices; track billing status and cash collections · Perform WIP analysis and support revenue recognition under ASC 606 · Review weekly and monthly project profitability an...
