About the Opportunity Job Summary: Northeastern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in natural language processing and AI safety. The successful candidate will join Prof. Annika Schoene’s research group (https://meronymlabs.com/) in Charlotte, North Carolina, and contribute to research at the intersection of NLP methods, AI safety, and high-risk application domains. Areas of interest include language model evaluation, robustness, safety assessment, benchmarking, and language-based analysis in health and mental health contexts. The successful candidate will have a strong research record in NLP, machine learning, or closely related areas, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. We are especially interested in candidates with strong technical depth in NLP methods and a clear interest in problems related to AI safety.
