Material Handler

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for moving and advancing materials, place on an automated manufacturing line or will pack and label materials by hand and perform housekeeping functions. JOB DUTIES: - Strictly comply with all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements in the manufacturing environment. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supplying raw materials to production lines to ensure uninterrupted operations. - Adhere to SOPs for the safe and efficient transport of Work-In-Process (WIP) materials throughout all stages of manufacturing. - Attend and actively participate in daily pre-shift production meetings. - Apply and maintain 5S standards across all production work areas. - Immediately report any lost, damaged, or non-conforming raw materials to the Supervisor. - Accurately track daily production performance and submit required reports to the Supervisor - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper care and daily cleaning of tools and equipment.
