Senior Test Automation Engineer Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid): Start Date: June 2026: Overview: We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong focus on backend testing and integrations. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex, distributed systems within a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone experienced in event-driven architectures, API testing, and automation within Java-based environments . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks (Java-based) Perform backend testing of APIs, integrations, and distributed systems Validate asynchronous communication flows (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, etc.) Develop BDD scenarios (Gherkin) and implement them in automation frameworks Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Analyze, debug, and resolve issues in complex system landscapes Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and architects Contribute to test strategy and continuous quality improvement Requirements: Minimum 8+ years of experience in test automation Strong experience with backend/API testing: Proven experience with messaging/queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS) So...
