RLB have been appointed to undertake condition surveys for the Department for Education, covering 7300 properties across England over 5 years. The commission is one of the largest of its kind ever undertaken across Europe and follows on from the success of its predecessor commission, to which RLB were also appointed. We are currently recruiting a Building Surveyor to join a client focused team within the South Central/South West region. This is an exciting opportunity for a high caliber individual to join and strengthen our team. The role involves visual assessment of building fabric condition, with data captured live on site via a tablet application. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results. - Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline - Health & Safety experience or training is essential - Experience in CDM - NEBOSH - Good understanding of JCT Contracts - Strong technical delivery experience - MRICS or membership relevant to a professional body - Strong track record in project management of projects...
