Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in audio systems architecture, design, or development. - 1 year of experience with MATLAB or Simulink. - Experience in one or more of the following: Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), or ML/AI using C, C++, Python. Preferred qualifications: - PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field specializing in audio. - Experience shipping high-volume consumer electronic devices, particularly within phone, hearables, wearables. - Experience with technical leadership including setting direction and driving business impact. - Expertise in generative AI and speech research, including first-author publications at top AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, InterSpeech, etc.). - Expertise in audio frameworks and standards (e.g., android audio, bluetooth audio, LE audio). - Understanding of end-to-end audio signal chains, audio processing concepts, a...
