Job type: Full Time Hours: The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The following positions report to the Controller: (e.g.; general accounting staff, Payroll, Accounts Payable.) The Controller is to assist the CFO in safeguarding hospital assets and ensuring the financial statements, including the books and records, are prepared and maintained in accordance with GAAP. Like the CFO, the Controller is responsible for ensuring compliance with company financial and accounting policies and procedures and also ensuring internal controls are effective in both design and operation, including the routine monitoring of controls. The Controller is to ensure the monthly close deadlines are timely met, account reconciliation and supporting documentation is maintained for all activities, account analysis is performed, prepare various packages as requested (e.g., cost report, tax, etc.), and to assist in various projects as requested.
