Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Pay Range $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities: Accountable for Performance of CT scans and post processing according to established clinical protocols, guidelines and department operating procedures 9)Transports patients to and from departments when necessary. Assist in tranfer of patients on and off the CT table.Continually monitors patient condition during CT procedure. 10)Works with radiologist in the tailoring of protocols to meet patient exam requirements. 1)Follows correct CT Department Technologist workflow ( select correct scan room, identifies and documents two forms of identification on each patient, acquire history, verify orders, scan patient, send images to PACs, scan all paperwork and data sheets (eg. history sheet, med-reconcilliation sheets, consent forms), start and complete the case in RadNet, address Q A issues, charge for contrast media and supplies, Verify that all images, series and data sheets have been sent to PACs- make sure the number of images is correct, verify exams. 2)Positions patients correctly, using proper immobilization techniques 3)Performs op...
