F/A-18 Ordnance Technician Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services is searching for F/A-18 Ordnance Technician willing to work on 1st or 2nd shift at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This position may be required to work at Stennis Facility in Kiln, Mississippi as required. Position Responsibilities: Technician maintains the following: Aircraft ordnance and associated equipment Remove and install ordnance related components and gear Perform Daily, pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections. Perform flight operation activities to include daily, turnaround, launch and recovery including plane captain activities Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
