Community Lending Officer

Job description

The Community Lending Officer will establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, realtors, and governmental agencies which result in lending opportunities for the bank to ensure full compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. The candidate will sell and originate residential mortgage loans to a predetermined sales goal focused in CRA assessment area needs. The candidate will identify and meet with prospects, explain various mortgage products available, determine best alternatives together with prospects and finalize sales. This position will support the WWA WTB Bank footprint. Essential Functions: - Assist in the coordination of WTB’s community outreach activities and community development service events. - Serve, where appropriate, as a member of civic, professional, and community development organizations that contribute to WTB’s CRA objectives. - Communicate ways by which management and staff can address fair lending responsibilities for WTB’s lending practices and standards. - Assist lenders in identifying and originating loans that meet the criteria of CRA in WTB’s CRA assessment areas. - Establishes and develops relationships with an extensive...
