Mechanical Engineer – Electrothermal Group Location: Busek Co. Inc. Department: Electrothermal Propulsion Position Summary The Mechanical Engineer supports the design, development, and production of electrothermal propulsion hardware for aerospace applications. This role spans concept development through production support, with a strong emphasis on precision mechanical design, hardware integration, and close collaboration with manufacturing and test teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electrothermal propulsion systems - Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, and specifications - Support hands-on assembly, integration, and troubleshooting of propulsion hardware - Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are manufacturable, repeatable, and cost-effective - Support thermal, structural, and mechanical analyses as required - Support test planning, execution, and post-test evaluation - Investigate and resolve mechanical issues, nonconformances, and design changes - Participate in design reviews and configuration control activities - Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards and internal quality requirements R...
