Job description

Position Purpose: - Support the paint and assembly processes in the facility, troubleshoot and assist in problem isolation and solution. Provide back-up support to the axle and weld/fab departments as needed. Essential Functions: - Apply concepts and details of gauging, fixtures, and tooling to assist in problem solving. - Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences, or forming consistency can be improved to increase throughput or product quality. - Help in maintaining and control programing for all paint/assembly areas. - When necessary, help to evaluate existing tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement. - Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility in manufacturing functions Education & Training: - Five to seven years’ experience in manufacturing facility.
