Job Overview Marvin is seeking a strategic and business-oriented Employment Law Attorney to join our legal team! This role provides sound and practical legal advice, develops and reviews policies, and works within a matrixed organization to partner with our HR professionals and other business partners across the Marvin enterprise. Highlights of your role: Advice & Counseling • Serve as the employment attorney for Marvin, providing day-to-day advice on a broad range of employment issues, including HR practices, performance management, terminations, hiring, compensation and benefits, wage and hour, leaves and accommodations, immigration, and labor relations.• Support and advise leadership and Human Resources across the enterprise on all areas of employment law and related company policies, including FMLA, -ADA, FLSA, Title VII and other laws prohibiting discrimination. Participate in and influence the decision-making process with appropriate clients and stakeholders.• Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the employment area and advise accordingly.
