Commercial Service Lead Technician

We have an immediate opening for a Commercial Lead Garage Door Technician in our Vancouver Branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Lead Technician will service and install overhead doors. This role is a permanent, full-time position. There is the possibility of on call and overtime. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold - D&A Testing for site access or post incident - Championing safety standards with a strong safety mindset - Working with hand tools, electric tools, lifts, and ladders - Maintain a professional manner during regular interaction with warehouse staff, construction Project Managers, customers, other trades, and safety personnel - Focus on quality workmanship - Wearing a hard hat and other PPE as required is mandatory for this safety sensitive role. - Provide guidance to helpers in learning the skill - Providing Service, and diagnose problems, provide solutions, and carry out required work on overhead doors - Regularly communicate and coordinate with the scheduler on problem solving, provide solutions and required parts if needed. -...
