About us: Quality RX is a closed-door pharmacy that proudly provides medication for the county jail setting. We are a woman-owned business located in Carmel, Indiana. Position Summary: The pharmacy technician must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities. Mandatory Functions: · Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations. · Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx. · Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate · Assist pharmacist by accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions · Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory. · Closely manage inventory in a cost-effective manner · Recommend improved procedures, equipment, and supplies to supervisor. · Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. · Present/participate in in-service education sessions. · Maintain pro...
