Description The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, seeks part-time Clinical Associates at 10% effort for renewable terms of up to one year. Clinical responsibilities will focus on care of children in inpatient and ambulatory settings at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital ambulatory clinics and other offsite ambulatory locations affiliated with the University of Chicago. This position will not have teaching duties and is not benefits eligible. The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital is a 155-bed facility with state-of-the-art technology and amenities that offers world-class medical care to children from around the Chicagoland area and across the globe. The Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine program at the University of Chicago works closely with Pediatric Otolaryngology and Maxillofacial surgery to care for children with complex neonatal craniofacial deformities. Appointees will attend in the Pediatric Sleep outpatient clinics, interpret pediatric polysomnograms (from neonates to adolescents) and provide clinical coverage for inpatient sleep consultation services.
