STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Geneseo Medical Campus: ADDRESS: 4302 Gateway Drive, Geneseo, NY 14454 DEPARTMENT: Imaging: SCHEDULE: Per Diem: SUMMARY: Specialty Radiology modalities are considered to be either mammography and/or CT technologies. Specialty Radiologic Technologists will spend more than 50% of their work time in one or more of the specialty modalities. A technologist may also perform plain film XR imaging, fluoro, and/or DEXA studies as needed by the department. A technologist will assist radiologists in performing procedures. The technologist will obtain images of excellent diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and patient safety in all assigned areas. ALARA radiation safety principles are required. Adheres to departmental policy, institutional policy, sponsor/protocol requirements, and FDA regulations as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES: ​ - Patient Care.
