The Residential Program Director oversees the day-to-day operation of a residential home designed to support individuals living with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities and complex medical needs. The Residential Program Director works towards the organizational mission and goals by providing quality living supports to individuals as well as supervision and leadership to program staff. The Residential Program Director will work to ensure compliance with both Northeast Arc and DDS funding requirements. Responsibilities: - Provides responsive, effective residential supports and leads staff in creating an atmosphere that places individual respect, dignity, and empowerment - Work as part of the Residential Team, including assisting peers as needed, providing Residential Office Coverage and having a working knowledge of all Residential Homes and Systems. - Utilize a Positive Behavior Support (PBS) approach when working with staff and individuals, including promoting the agency objectives related to personal growth, community involvement and decision making. - Ensure Residential Team Members are aware of daily schedule and staffing coverage. - Complete required documentation complet...
