C&B Accountant

Job description

Job Purpose The C&B Accountant is responsible for the accurate, timely and compliant execution of Cash & Banking activities , including bank statement processing, payments, reconciliations and period‑end closing. The role provides operational support to Treasury activities , ensuring high quality, control and continuous improvement across cash‑related processes. Key Responsibilities: - Process daily bank statements in an accurate and timely manner - Prepare, control and execute outgoing and incoming payments - Perform bank account and transitory account reconciliations - Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities within the C&B scope - Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and control requirements - Support Treasury‑related processes within the assigned scope (e.g. cash movements, liquidity‑related activities, FX‑related postings and reporting) - Cooperate with Treasury, EBS and other Finance stakeholders to ensure smooth end‑to‑end cash processes - Perform activities in a detailed, systematic and conscious manner, with strong focus on accuracy, controls and documentation - Work independently, managing assigned tasks end‑to‑end - Take ownership for timely comp...
